Vice President, Editorial

Edward King has over a decade's experience as a writer and editor of medical education resources in print and online formats and is considered a world leader in the creation of innovative medical education delivery models and HIV content. Mr. King joined Clinical Care Options in 2002 as Editorial Director and manages the editorial team that develops the models and the content for CCO's Web sites, live meetings and publications.

Previously, Mr. King was Program Director for Medscape's HIV/AIDS site. At Medscape he commissioned and edited all of the site's original content and managed its industry-supported programs, including conference coverage, CME programs, clinical reviews, and other expert-authored publications, working with many of the world's leading authorities. Since 1998, Mr. King has supervised the editorial content of the annual Clinical Care Options for HIV Symposium and its related publications.

As Clinical Editor, Mr. King helped the American Academy of HIV Medicine create the first HIV Medicine Self-Directed Study Guide, published in 2003. He also edited the UK's most influential publications on HIV therapy, the HIV & AIDS Treatments Directory and the monthly newsletter AIDS Treatment Update, for 6 years before he joined HealthCare Communications Group prior to its acquisition by Medscape.

Edward holds an MA from the University of Oxford, England.
