These are engaging online interactive branched-logic CME-certified programs designed to challenge clinicians to work through a patient case by making a series of at least 3 treatment decisions. After each choice, the reader is presented with the outcome of their decision and offered another set of choices, thus requiring those who made a suboptimal selection to work through the consequences of that management decision. At the conclusion of the case, the author discusses the key decision points and reviews evidence-based data that support those options.
