General Manager, Oncology Business Unit

Trish Doolin, with more than 15 years of healthcare marketing and sales experience, joined CCO in 2005 as Director of CME Program Development for the Hematology/Oncology division. Promoted in June 2006 to General Manager, Hematology/Oncology, she is responsible for managing all activities related to the oncology business unit, including strategic and tactical leadership and management of the team.

 

Prior to joining CCO, Trish Doolin was a Senior Director of Business Development for Optima Educational Solutions, a HealthStar Communications Company, from March 2004 through April 2005, creating and selling disease state educational solutions in a variety of therapeutic areas, including oncology. From 1999 until 2004, she was Senior Vice President of OmegaMed, Inc., a full-service medical communications agency focused specifically on oncology/hematology, supervising account services, operations management, and new business development. She has worked extensively on strategic development, educational programs, publication planning, and trial recruitment efforts. In addition, she has worked successfully with many patient advocacy organizations on disease state patient information, including several national patient advocacy organizations including the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the International Myeloma Foundation, and The Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation.

 

Trish Doolin served for more than 3 years as the Director of Communications for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, an National Cancer Institute (NCI)–sponsored clinical research organization, and simultaneously held the position of Director of Communications for the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups, a nonprofit foundation that represents the interests of several of the NCI’s cooperative groups, supporting the cancer clinical trial process from protocol inception through activation and enrollment to study completion, analysis, and publication.

 

Trish Doolin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Journalism from the University of Delaware.
